Ohmigod you guys! There's this new British show, which I assume is a re-imagining of the Merlin mythos, and by re-imagining I'm saying that Merlin and Arthur are of the same age, Guenevere is the maid and Morgana isn't Arthur's sister (that we know of, anyway).

But, that isn't why I'm all *SQUEE!!!!!1!!!!*

It's because this is the first show in a loooong time that the HoYay was so manifest it literally dripped out of the screen (like drool out of my mouth). Seriously, the scenes between Arthur and Merlin, their lines and expressions? It's like Young Americans! Only with less nudity and cross-dressing!


Okay, boo for no nudity.  But it's a British show, so... fingers crossed.  Also, I'm kind of wishing this were the kind of re-imagining where, in the second season, they pull off a fast one and Arthur and Merlin become lovers.


Now, I'm gonna go look for slashfic.  *expectant!grabby!hands!*
